2nd Amendment: A Well Regulated Militia…

A Second Amendment Tutorial: The definition of words may change over time, but the original intent at the time they were written does not.A Second Amendment Tutorial: First let us start with a firm foundation. The definition of words may change over time, but the original intent at the time they were written does not.

The opening words of the 2nd Amendment have fueled more misinterpretation and infringement upon American freedoms than just about any other part of the Constitution. What is “A Well Regulated Militia?” If “the people” have an individual right to “keep and bear” arms, then why start out the 2nd amendment talking about a “well regulated militia?” Do you have to be in a militia to keep and bear arms? It’s actually not as complicated as many would have you believe. In researching this article, even I learned a few things. The best place to start is the beginning. What does “well regulated” mean, or more appropriately, what did it MEAN at the time the second amendment was written?

Cult of Peace

I have been asked by several people close to me, what do I think about the lady who was brutally murdered in Oklahoma by a practicing islamist. So, I think it is well past time that the issue of islam is addressed, not just by myself, but by all Defenders of the Republic.

Islam is at open war against Liberty, the two cannot co-exist, nor can Liberty be trusted with any follower of muhammad. And before anyone can ignorantly defend islam through the first amendment, understand the fact that there is no protection written into the Bill of Rights or anywhere in our Constitution that permits treasonous speech and behavior against the Rights protected by our Constitution.
Embrace Islam… If you two accept Islam, you will remain in command of your country; but if your refuse my Call, you’ve got to remember that all of your possessions are perishable. My horsemen will appropriate your land, and my Prophethood will assume preponderance over your kingship.”  – Saifur Rahman, The Sealed Nectar p.227-228 One of several letters from Muhammad to rulers of other countries.

2016 Presidential Actors

In Politics by Staff Writer0 Comments

I have seen lists being circulated lately of contenders for the 2016 presidential race. I know part of that is because the GOP is truly without a leader and tottering back and forth between conservative and moderate values on any given issue, with a demoralized and confused base of support.

Well instead of offering my own list of contenders, I am going to tell you who has absolutely no business running for office. I think it is obvious that some people will run simply because they have nothing to lose and it enables them to turn our election process into a marketing and PR campaign for personal gain and product recognition for book tours and public speaking engagements. Such candidates tend to throw their hat into the ring, and then quickly retreat before public scrutiny will show them what they are really made of, or they stay longer than their 15 minutes of fame, and turn their act into a freak show performance.

Our country is too close to the brink of collapse to entertain sideshow stage performances by snake oil/used car salesmen who care only about their bank accounts and market branding, and have zero regard for our Country and constitution. You won’t find someone on this list who does not have a strong history of political opportunism: someone that is in politics for the paycheck and puts a price tag on principles.

The Socialist Islamic State

In Liberalism by Staff Writer0 Comments

Fascism, at least in the word’s common usage of today, is understood to be a form of socialism in which a centralized authoritarian regime or dictator, one which places nation/race/religion above all else, controls a society through strict regimentation and the suppression of dissent and opposition.

The term “Islamofascism” is generally understood to describe an authoritarian political system based on Islamist beliefs.

It isn’t a difficult stretch to understand that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria fits the definition of Islamofascism.

In fact, once one takes a closer look at the Islamic State, it becomes clear that they are indeed socialists, of the Islamic variety.

Their goal is to establish a Caliphate, or one giant, all-inclusive Islamic nation, in which everyone lives under strict Islamic Sharia law. Non-believers and dissenters are driven out, extorted, forced to submit and convert, or killed. Opposition is not tolerated.
